The implementation of this project results from defined needs of enterprises and markets. With the implementation of this project, PLASTFORM d.o.o. implemented the optimization of business organization using digital technology, increased resource efficiency and reduced quantities of waste generated during production and introduced more energy efficient solutions. PLASTFORM d.o.o. also strengthened its competitiveness on the domestic and foreign markets, increased the number of employees and strengthened its capacity for resilience in crisis conditions. Project activities were carried out at two locations of the company, in Sesvete and in Kompolje.
The implementation of the project started on 31 May 2021 and the duration of the project was 28 months, i.e. until 30 September 2023.
Project activities were:
- Investing in tangible and intangible assets with the aim of achieving more energy efficient and environmentally friendly production through (Sesvete):
- introduction of new technological solutions (acquisition of new machinery and related equipment which together with new machinery in production forms a complementary whole with the purpose of expanding the capacity of the existing business unit);
- the introduction of technological measures to increase the cost-efficiency of production units; introduction of ERP solutions for the purpose of optimization of existing production and work processes and training of employees for work in ERP system
- improving and innovating the process and organization of business through:
- introduction of digital models for organization and introduction of business models to increase resource efficiency and reduce waste materials and introduction of risk and external impact resistant business models
- Investment in tangible and intangible assets with the aim of achieving more energy efficient and environmentally friendly production through (Kompolje):
- Expansion of production capacities by building a production hall with a warehouse
- Introduction of new technological solutions (Procurement of new machinery and related equipment which together with new machinery in production forms a complementary whole with the purpose of expanding the capacity of the existing business unit)
- Introduction of technological measures to increase the cost-effectiveness of production units
- Introduction of CRM solutions for the purpose of optimization of existing production and work units
- improving and innovating the process and organization of business through:
- Introduction of digital models for organization and introduction of business models to increase resource efficiency and reduce waste materials and introduction of risk and external impact resistant business models
