With this project, Plastform d.o.o has brought the PROWAVE product to TRL 9 level. The project implementation will lead to increased sales and export revenue, and new job opportunities in the future.
Additionally, the delivery and production processes were innovated and the company’s organizational methods were as well. PROWAVE EPS panel has a particularly strong adhesion – the strength of the coating between the wall, plaster, brick or concrete and the facade. Adhesion of the panel to the wall or concrete is extremely important, and the increase in adhesion is solved precisely through the innovative design of the board – waves. The results of all the phases conducted through the research is the innovative EPS panel PROWAVE- new product on the global marketing, with significantly improved mechanical and thermal properties compared to previous products.
The implementation of the project began on May 23, 2022, and the duration of the project was 18 months, until November 23, 2023
The project activities were:
- procurement of tangible and intangible assets necessary for process innovation and business organization – through this activity, the following equipment was acquired:
- Printer for labeling products
- Package for EPS panels
- Industrial thermal printer
- Sticker winder
- PCs (portable computers)
- Desk computers for 3D modeling
- MES platform upgrade
- Implementation of innovative product delivery processes and introduction of a new organizational structure
- Project management
- Promotion and visibility
